Chemical Laboratory The chemical laboratory is largely geared towards supporting departmental projects but because of its special expertise, certain analytical services not available elsewhere in the country may be purchased from the department. Our lab has recently been upgraded with some modern equipment and it services are available to the mineral industry whenever a specific need arises. |

Our drilling unit, as in the case of the chemical laboratory, is also largely for departmental work but its services may also be purchased under similar conditions. The unit is very well equipped for groundwater work with three heavy truck mounted as well as a portable rig for small islands (shown on left). |
